I was going to wait until the Gold Box deal, since the price has been $130 all week at Amazon and I was hoping it'd go even lower. When I checked it earlier today, it had gone up to $210 (like Buckyball60 mentioned).

But now, as of 8:45PM EST, it's back down to $130.

Should I go ahead and pick it up at this price or hold out until the Gold Box deal goes live?

Well, I guess your mind is made up for you now I had the same thought you did but decided to wait for the Gold Box deal. High risk vs. reward--only $20 extra savings if the rumored $109.99 price is correct, and it looks like the price could stay at $200+ for a while if you miss the deal--but ok for me since it's not a crucial piece of my Christmas gift lineup. It would definitely be the centerpiece if I landed it though!

I can see the price dipping back down to $130 for Cyber Monday or sometime between then and Christmas but of course that's just my guess.

If you want to lock in the $130 price just in case, what about doing an in-store pickup order with Best Buy? You don't have to pick it up, and can either cancel or let it expire if you end up getting in on the gold box deal for less.
