LG 50pa5500 1080p Plasma (get bjs black friday price at bb today) $499 YMMV

This model is supposed to be $499 at bjs this weekend but the website has the price now but you cant add to cart. Tried to buy today and they would not match the price of the website. Tried at Paul's TV too but since they could not confirm stock and since it says 2-3weeks shipping they would not. The guy also said it was a crazy price, $70 below their cost for the TV, would have done it if it was not so low.

However I was able to price match at best buy, just showed the bjs website. The bb website said they had it but was not on display, just the 720p model, but they found it in the back. They have it for $600 and price matched to $499. With tax $534. Got it setup and it looks great. So if you want this 1080p plasma and don't want to wait or deal with black Friday crowds go price match at best buy.

After using the calibration settings found in the AVS Forums thread, the picture quality is very impressive.

I'm sure they're referring to the swivel base that it comes with if you choose to attach it.
