Thanks OP. I bought this TV and just plugged it in tonight. I immediately heard a really loud buzzing noise coming from the back of the unit. You can hear it through the top vents. It's quite a bit louder than the normal high-pitch squeal you can get with some TVs.

I've tried every menu setting with no effect. Tried plugging in audio and cable cords with no effect. No change in the buzz when I change TV inputs or volume. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas on how to fix?

I didn't get any buzzing noise, but my 360 and PS3 stopped working on it. They worked fine for the first few hours and now the PS3 will flash on the screen, but will then go to no signal. The 360 doesn't display at all.

That's pretty scary, I haven't hooked my 360 up to it yet. Will your PS3 and 360 still work on other tv's?

Yeah it worked fine. I ended up using different cables and it worked after that. The cables that didn't work on the Sceptre worked fine on my other TV which is a Panasonic.
