Great find on the $748 deal - Slicker than Dell if you need the card, bag and $40 in camera accessories. Not to mention it is in stock and ready to ship - with Dell you have to wait a couple of weeks.

For me, I don't have sales tax on anything, already have a bag and a bunch of cheap lenses (currently hooked up to a venerable Minolta 5d) and also had a $200 Dell gift card laying around from previous promotions. It was an easier sell to the Mrs. when we only had $450 out of pocket

It probably doesn't have the 18-135 lens at that price. There is another slickdeal for the A57...

...which is basicaly the Adorama kit which includes the A57, 18-135 lens, 32GB card, and other extras. $550 for the body only is the standard price, and $650 would be with the cheaper kit lens.

The 18-135 is a much better all purpose lens than the 18-55. If you still want the cheaper kit lens, you would do better to go through adorama , get the same price ($648), but receive the bundle with the 32gb card, case, and visa card cash back.
