Thanks Op... just bought and paired with the G630... time to move on from my original Xbox XBMC and move on to another HTPC platform....this should do the trick once I find a cheap drive and RAM... any suggestions on an HTPC remote that's good with XBMC?

What kind of LGA1155 CPU would I need to basically get tivo-like DVR functionality (i.e. record 2 streams, SD or HD) from a hdhomerun prime (the one w/ cablecard)? TIA

I JUST sent out the rebate for that $20 ECS mobo and i have a celeron g550 from microcenter laying around.
"Smoked" by windows phone 2012, might be my best SD yet if i could actually get the phone.

To give you an idea, I use an athlon II 4050e (1107 on passmark [cpubenchmark.net]) + HD4350 on my HTPC/media server. With my HDHRP and dual QAM tuners, I record up to 5 shows simultaneously and haven't encountered a problem. More common, I record 3 shows simultaneously and stream something to another HTPC in the house. But as you can see, you don't need major muscle for HTPC. I
