Good find. One small bummer is I forgot I should have ordered this through my husband's account because the Kindle is registered to his account. Now I can't activate the digital issue, and Amazon wouldn't let me cancel so I could reorder even though I realized it within a minute of placing the order. Probably wouldn't have used the digital issue anyhow (hell, I only glance through the print issue), but it would've been nice to get that option since it was included. This is just an fyi for anyone in the same situation, you may as well order it through the spouse's account if he/she has a kindle activated and you don't.

From a review on Amazon...
Quote :
I subscribed for years but doesn't live up to its name anymore. Very limited television show listings - covers prime time only and limited channels.
Also, someone said the Kindle edition doesn't work with the Kindle apps.

Thanks op! Subscribed if not for just the crossword puzzles....Wink Although liked it better when it was smaller sized...when the size grew, it didn't seem as informative or interesting anymore. LMAO (Tried to rep, but I need to spread some first Wink)

eta from Amazon:

This Kindle subscription works on any of the following Kindles:

Kindle Fire
Kindle Fire HD
Kindle for iPad

It's true, the TV guide isn't as great anymore. But if you flip through you will invariably see something that stands out on a show you'd like to see, or didn't know was returning, or hadn't heard of but it sounds interesting. For $5 it's worth it to have to just glance at the reviews and the Daily Highlights. I paid $16 for my current subscription and wasn't sure it was even worth that low price again for next year, but for $5 it definitely is -- and it lets you add on to your current subscription if you already have one.

Honestly you'd be better off with their iOS app which is amazing in itself. Check it out.

Kindle for iPad +1. Great deal, even though it is a more mediocre magazine than 10 years ago.

About 10 years ago was the last digest-sized issue, IIRC.

Few Questions:

What if I'm already a TV Guide subscriber? Can I add this on to my subscription somehow? I previously subscribed to tv guide through the tv guide website and I think my sub is through July or August 2013.

Also do I need to own a kindle to jump on this deal?

Thanks,

-Guru
