From a review on Amazon...

Also, someone said the Kindle edition doesn't work with the Kindle apps.

I saved about 20 preview issues from the seventies and eighties. I can remember buying the next week's edition the day it came out so I could check the synopsis for my favorite shows.

Why don't they issue it in pdf format in addition to print and Kindle? Through the 80's, TV Guide was the #1 selling periodical in the USA. I used to buy it on the newsstands when it was 15¢ and then 25¢ a copy (in its Reader's Digest sized format). Unfortunately, with so many cable channels, they can't possibly cover every one. These days, I can check tvguide.com or a host of other sites, and the channel guide station from my cable provider.

TV Guide was the best in the days when there were just about 3 networks, 7 local VHF channels and some UHF stations.

Why would they care...? You have the option to cancel the auto-renew - you're taking advantage of the option. What is there to be suspicious of?
