I ordered on 11/19, original delivery estimate was 12/6, got a shipment notice on 11/23, freight company called yesterday to schedule delivery for 11/29. Not bad at all.

Received mine today. Great deal using the free $75 egiftcard, plus I was able to score another $43.30 off over the phone with a Dell rep. Long story, but pulled it off and discount already posted to my card. I have to say that Dell has given me exceptional service; discount, follow up calls and emails. Really surprised at there service and would definitely do business again.

Just got my TV tonight, looking very nice. I used the settings someone posted on AVS forum and so far so good, way better than stock. So far I've just been watching OTA TV and it looks nice. My computer looks pretty bad hooked up over HDMI, but movies aren't so shabby. Just need some bluray material to test now as everything I've played is way too low res for 50" at anything closer than 5 feet. Just gotta sit farther away I guess. Good luck to everyone else!

EDIT: Turn off the energy saving mode, makes the screen way too dim.

I scored a 55st50 for a crazy price of $499 at a local shop, their black Friday deal. The 50st50 was $499 but he sold me the 55 in for the same price because of a small unnoticeable scratch.

This was $449 at Fry's.

NOOOO.... just got mine today and the screen is cracked! got to sit on hold with dell for 45 minutes so they could transfer me and disconnect me. enough dell pain for one day.

You might want to contact the shipping company. I talked to them when they delivered my TV and the guy said you have 48 hours to contact them if something is wrong with the shipment. Just an alternative option worth trying since Dell is a major hassle to deal with.

Mine came today and the screen was cracked. Three nice long cracks all the way across. Took about an hour on the phone with Dell, but I have a replacement coming. Hopefully that one is not cracked.
