A lot of the reviews comparing the Nexus 10 and iPad 4 still give the edge to the iPad for the best screen due to the fact resolution isn't the only factor when comparing displays. You also have to consider things like brightness, contrast, and factory calibration which are areas the iPad is still top in. The Nexus 10's chip is also not faster because the GPU performance of the iPad 4 has shown to blow everything else out of the water right now.

Google Maps with turn by turn nav is also on it's way to the iOS store, 4:3 is the better aspect ratio for web browsing, and while the Nexus 10 may be marginally easier to hold due to the widescreen aspect and plastic may not scratch as easily as aluminum, I definitely wouldn't mark the Nexus 10's build quality as one of the positive reasons to buy it over the iPad because the iPad looks and feels much more premium in-hand than the plastic casing for the Nexus which many regarded as ugly when the first photos started showing up. I won't even go into other differences where the iPad clearly wins as well like battery life and the iOS app store where Apple's tablet apps are about 5x more polished than the Android versions which most are scaled up phone versions not even designed to take advantage of a high res screen.

The Nexus 10 is a great tablet, especially for the price, and honestly the best Android device currently available, but the iPad still has a number of advantages that make it an equal or better choice in every respect depending on the user.

My thoughts exactly. I would dare say there hasn't been $2500 worth of slick deals at BB this year. Unless you got it on like a TV or two at great prices (doubt it) Reward Zone is junk.

They had a significant discount last year as well, so its about right. I remember I bought the iPad 2 like this last year, but the discount was open to the public...just kept going in and out of stock. I wound up returning it almost a month later, with the extended return policy, because there were even better deals if you used Chase UR, etc.

In the end of it all, they screwed up their holiday orders so bad I wound up getting brand new iPad 2s for <$250. (And then wound up selling those for $400 to upgrade to iPad 3 when that came out a few months later.)

It's a good deal, if you plan on giving this as a gift, you won't find it THAT much cheaper unless theres a glitch or you really manage to work the system (i.e. using Rewards points / Discover cashback etc).

Best Buy has been handing out Silver Reward Zone status left and right to customers that never spent anywhere close to $2500 this year though. Several people got it just from purchasing a smartphone.
