I guess its my fault, but i have a couple hospital bills in collections from when i was younger.
I want to go about fixing my credit, and paying them all off. Anyone have any tips of how i can get in contact with the collection agencies? i received a credit report but the information on there was pretty useless besides telling me what i owe and since when. Unless I'm missing something. Any input appreciated.

They disappear after 7 years. You also have a good chance at paying them and getting them removed by using the HIPPA process by WhyChat.

OP, if you were sent to collections, they will contact you. Read up on how to deal with collections agencies, maybe you can work a deal where you pay less than what you really owe, try to negotiate with them. Remember they bought your debt for pennies on the dollar and as long as they make a profit, then you can both benefit.
