U2713hm ~ 640 + tax 2560 x 1440. This one ~ 629.10 + tax 2560 x 1080.
Don't get me wrong, deal is good. I just don't get the point of this monitor. you can get the same horizontal space with the u2713hm while having some ( not some... it's actually quiet a lot) extra vertical space for 10 dollar more. and this is in no way to mimic a side by side set up as you would have 3960 x 1080 if it were two side by side set up. Only thing I can see that may be worth a while is you can get almost a full screen for those movie with 2.39:1 aspect ratio |

Note: this display is not suitable for multimon-setup. The bottom bezel is bigger and it's not capable of doing portrait W/O custom stand mount.

This is a stupid aspect ratio and resolution.
Amazon has the U2713HM for $650, a 27" 2560x1440 monitor. It also has 3% more surface area even though it's 27" vs 29" due to the aspect ratio. Same horizontal room but more vertically, which is VERY useful. I really wish this resolution doesn't catch on. It's just dumb and not suited for computer work. That is one slick looking monitor. I have a 24" U2410 right now and can just imagine the double takes this monitor would bring. Unfortunately, its out of my range for now by about $300.
