Not sure what you guys are talking about, they both run x8/x8 in SLI or crossfire. Either go with the Gigabyte if you want more USB 3.0 ports (albeit using a VIA chipset), or go with the Asrock if you want a slightly better VRM, which isn't gonna make a big difference unless you're gonna be using serious watercooling, and anyone that puts that kind of money into their cooling probably isn't gonna buy a $105 motherboard.
I went with the Gigabyte, you can't go wrong with either one really. If you get a Rev. 1.1 board you'll get an 8-pin CPU connector, Rev. 1.0 comes with a 4-pin CPU connector. I don't know what Newegg's latest stock is like, but my Microcenter had nothing but Rev. 1.0 boards. |

Build Quality:
Asus>Gigabyte>Asrock Features: Asrock "The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance."
