10.1 Tablet under $250?
Looking to find one for my mom's bday and trying to take advantage of black friday deals but all the good 10.1s seem to be $300+ even at black friday. She will use it for web browsing, facebook, skype - so it should also have a decent camera as well, and other apps. I saw some nice generic ones on eBay but they only had a 0.3megapixel camera on the front and that was probably a deal breaker in this case. It should preferably also have an IPS screen and with '1280 by xxxx' resolution or higher. Android 4.0+. Wireless-N. Micro-SD card slot for expandable memory. U.S. seller if its an online deal. Is that asking for too much at this price point?If it was for myself I'd settle for a 9" but I went to check out the lenovo a2109 at office depot that will be $199 on black friday and that screen may be too small for her liking. I know there's an s2109 online which is 9.7" but it has a 4:3 instead of 16:9 aspect ratio which I'm not fond of. Any suggestions? Last edited by khanvict; 11-19-2012 at 05:35 PM.. |

Has the solid Tegra 3 quad-core processor, so it runs well. Updates to Jelly Bean OTA. With all of that said, I'll also say that I use my Nexus 7 a lot more than my TF300. The 10" tablet is very nice for watching video, but for just about anything else I find the 7" form factor more convenient and comfortable to hold. |
