I thought the $250 was the black friday price, didn't know it was going on sale early.
Laptop is fairly light for a non ultrabook laptop (4 pounds). Trackpad/touchpad is crap. Upgrading anything is a pain in the ass. B980 is a decent chip. Better than any c2d and any first generation i3/i5, especially if they're using on board graphics. It's an okay carrying with books laptop/backup laptop. As for the lack of a dvd drive, I think optical drives are on the verge of being obsolete. I use mine maybe 4 or 5 times a year, just to load things. I can see the value in ditching the drive and using an external for the rare occasions I need one (I have both an external dvd-rw drive and an external blu-ray writer). |

guys login as silver member i can see green still available for $250 , add to cart to see the price . I bought a green and white today morning .

A bad trackpad really destroys a laptop user experience so a bad trackpad destroys this deal for me. But also, I want to replace the HDD with an SSD so is it really that bad to upgrade? It's a shame if it is because its a pretty nice deal and getting in early is awesome. |
