Asus and PNY make mediocre cards. Lots of minor problems with PNY and Asus such as rattling fans. The rest are usually junk. Galaxy is considered bottom tier though. High failure rate (comparatively) and customer service is a joke. If you want to take the risk to save $30, go ahead, but be warned. The majority do get good cards, its just if it DOESN'T work, its a huge problem. Last edited by al4nw31; 11-21-2012 at 11:53 AM.. |

The normal price on that thing is ~$270-$280, which is the price before rebate. If the rebate doesn't process, you have a normal price graphics card. I'm waiting for the GTX 660 to go on sale... Darnit. 660 Ti and 670 went on sale already >.<. Last edited by al4nw31; 11-21-2012 at 02:36 PM.. |

If you buy the card from any authorized retailer you get the games. And it's $250 AR, so you're only getting $30 off. The retail price if you do a little research is $10 less than what Newegg listed, if you look at Amazon. |

Sapphire is generally considered EVGA of AMD. Asus can be good if some of their cards didn't have systematic problems. HIS, XFX (except if you are buying a 7950/7970, skip XFX) and Powercolor comes after. Then you are left with Diamond and Visiontek's dying bodies. |

It can sometimes be put up there with MSI, Gigabyte, and Sapphire. Its generally the same price as them as well. |

[QUOTE=AggroDude;54980838]MSI GTX 650 1GB - $99.99 - $30 MIR = $69.99 [newegg.com]
This one shows up as $109.99 - $30 MIR = $79.99

I picked up one of the HIS 7870's, will be keeping watch to see if anything better pops up though. Just an fyi, the 7870 only comes with Farcry 3, the Medal of Honor game listed is just a coupon for 20% off.
Thanks for putting the list together! Last edited by srphoenix; 11-23-2012 at 01:27 PM.. |
