Wow eBay is freaking liars. I still see my final value fee posted in my account. No credit what so ever like the CS said on the phone. God f you eBay.

They charged me as well. It still amazes me that they removed all customer service contact except the phone. I don't feel like sitting on hold for half an hour. That is of course what they are counting on.

They separated the fee and credit. Check to see if it is on the credit link! If not, call again. I got back my money.

I was charged for a final value fee on this deal... Called first time, they said they will credit it back... After 1 week, no credit.. Called again, said they will credit and gave me a case number..Waited 1 week and no credit.. Called again today... Rep is saying credit request was rejected because the email I received was spoof email.. WTF?????

Seriously guys... I am crying and hoping that there will be a competitor for ebay...

That is amazing. They are obviously lying as nobody is going to send out a fake email like that. I also wish there was a worthy competitor but I fear it may not happen for a long time.

Hopefully this post might help others who are ready to give up.

It's a long road....

Called eBay Dec 3rd .....told - final value credit request filed (actually lies)
Called eBay Dec 14th.....told - she would personally call me back within 48hrs (actually lies)
Called eBay Dec 22nd....told - final value credit request filed (actually given a confirmation number !)

I kept records of dates, times, CSR names and Ref # for each call.

fingers crossed that it'll actually process as it's a $70 final value fee so I'm fighting for it.

I gave the 3rd CSR the link to the promo from the earlier post, but as far as I can tell they made the offer "dissapear" for the CSR's too as she couldn't find it before I gave her the link. Afterwards, she was more inclined to believe me and filed a final value fee request.
