Still hoping for a $688 price match deal from Amazon + Prime. TV seems to have good reviews and great picture once you have it dialed in. There is a thread on Amazon (product review) that gives you a good starting point for settings to make the picture better.

The Walmart ad says that they will guarantee in stock from 10 p.m.-11 p.m. on Thursday, 11/22. If they don't have it during that time, you get a raincheck for the model at that price. No trampling, no camping out, just go between 10 and 11 if you can and pick it up. If not, get a slip and come back. Not so much of a hassle to pay $200 more for this...unless the ad I saw was wrong (could it be the guaranteed items are different region by region...the slick deal scanned ad looks a bit different if I recall correctly?) Still, only $100 off of MFGR retail and I bet between now and Christmas it will be at that price 1/2 dozen times at least).

No. Incorrect. This TV is not sold during the instock guarantee event.

They are only guaranteeing the 3 items on the top half of that ad. I think it was an iPad and 2 smaller TVs

Yes this is a Walmart BF deal and an Amazon Lighting BF deal (don't know when it starts).

This is not a bad price. I wonder if target or amazon will price match with this and i do not mind buying it.

You guys are right...sorry. I had remembered it wrong...sorry for any confusion or undue hope I may have caused. Alas. Well I'll just keep waiting I guess since I'm not camping out for 30% off of retail (or maybe I'll get lucky on Amazon).

it was on blackfriday.com under amazon tv deals. but im not sure when it will come online and how many pieces they have. i wont be surprised if its done in 2 seconds .
