I have no idea why, but I just got this for $1.98. I debated awhile and looked around at other options. I decided to go for it and 2 promotions were applied at checkout: a $30 and an $8.01. Hell yeah, if it was a mistake hopefully they don't catch it.

Don't get this if your car doesn't automatically turn off its cigarette lighter port. The manual says it will go into standby after not being connected but the one I had stayed on and killed my car battery so I couldn't start it the next day. You'll have to unplug it everytime you turn off the car... and this gets as old as just plugging in the aux cable.
