Help on picking a Soundbar and Sub for Vizio 60 inch

ndsports316 161 42 November 20, 2012 at 09:47 AM
Hello,

I just picked up the new 60 inc Vizio model - E601i-A3 from Sam's Club. I am moving to a new condo soon and do not think I will have enough room or really a need to setup a crazy sound system.

I think a sound bar and wireless sub should do just fine. I was thinking of just going with the Vizio soundbar and sub, http://store.vizio.com/home-theat...21ma1.html but wanted to get people's opinions. I plan to have the TV and soundbar placed on a stand and not wall mounted just yet. The living room is roughly 18x12 if that will help with determine the best audio setup.

Digitaltrends.com - Nov 6th review states - Vizio SB4021M-A1 Review "Provides a listening experience that comes dangerously close to some of the $500 sound bar systems we've tested this year"

Budget - $250 ish.

Thanks for any help

does it have to be wireless? If not, I have last year's model of this (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_158H...6541095385) and I like it.

If I try, I might fail. If I don't try, I will fail.

Trust me...VIZIO VHT215 Home Theater Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer. $200-250 new. The best soundbar below $250, only draw back is no Bluetooth ...otherwise it is beyond perfect.

btw, you can get refurbished one $149.99 at newegg but the private seller has low ratings.

Why doens't vizio have the VHT for sale on their website? They show currently the best 2.1 system is the M Series.

For Bluetooth im going to get the sono's play 5!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XG1_L_214G0
