I ordered from Fox like others on here and opened the packaging. I alway open it because they sometinmes reject sealed ones.

The item is supposed to be brand new and not used at all. The product is not supposed to be open.

Damn. I messed this up. With games I laways remove the plastic because I had new ones rejected. i did the same with DVD not realizing that it must be sealed.

When you click new this should pop up:

Even for games, brand new products should not be rejected if the trade-in condition you've chosen is "new."

Did you mark the option to remove the item if the condition doesn't match?

Games do not have the option NEW. Only GOOD or Fair. I submitted sealed games before that were returned.

I've submitted plenty of brand new, shrink-wrapped games without issues, fortunately.

You never tear the seal for trade ins ..... Only bb trades have to have the shrink wrap removed. Removing the wrap downgrades your product from new to good

And the downgrade only happens if you mark it for Amazon to keep the product regardless of the condition.

I've also traded in shrink-wrapped products to Best Buy without issues, though I have heard from many that they should be removed.

Vic, do you have a thread on here where we can discuss these type of deals in the future or is this pretty much it? I didn't get to take advantage of this deal as was distracted by other ones but would like to try this in the future.
