Most likely, but Dick's will have to cough up that money meaning their little cost saving 'cancel the order' scam will most likely backfire on them.. I doubt we'll ever see the rifles at the price we paid for them but the only way to hurt a corporation is to hit them in the pocket book. So maybe next time they'll think twice before pulling something similar as if we do nothing, they'll pull this crap again as they got away with it before.

I'm not a single-issue voter. If I agree with Obama's views on 9 out of 10 issues, I'm going to vote for him.

That doesn't mean I can't disagree with him about gun control. In fact, I hope any responsible, firearm-owning Democrat opposes the party line on gun legislation.

Got my little hate present yesterday as well. There is an aspect to this I didn't see mentioned. I got the credit card to take advantage of the 10% off. This requires a hard hit to your credit. This means that your credit is adversely affected as a result of taking on more credit potential. It is short lived BUT it does adversely impact you in the near term. I have already paid my credit card (did so 20 Dec) so I dunno what is going to happen. Got the hate mail yesterday. I am going in tomorrow. I was assured that the order was good. I was told it would not go thru their system unless it was a valid order. I know they are still getting AR platform rifles in (on Fri last wk my local store got 6 in but they couldn't sell them). I could have spent this money on something else while there was something to spend it on. Time to hit them in the wallets. I think there is a class action potential here. If someone has contacted an attorney, please suggest class action status. I will try to make some inquiries as well. Plan to visit the store tomorrow.

Do we have an approximate number of how many are affected by this cancellation in this tread?
