it also has to go through an FFL, so you'd be looking at an extra $25 DROS fee, $40 (more or less, depending on the FFL) dealer fee, and you'll be charged tax by the dealer on top of all that. |

Great deal but there is no way I'm getting a CC from Dick's... the most ridiculously overpriced Sporting goods store in the US. I rather pay more elsewhere and not give a penny to them.

 ALL OVER THIS! I think this may just ick my 6920 and Sig 556's ASS, and I paid more for both of those! Troy EVERYTHING? Forgeddabout it, AWESOME. I have over a grand worth of Troy stuff on my wish list for my other ARs, screw it, this is WAY better. I  Troy!!!

YESS glad some of you are getting in on it!
I was not in the market for another AR. but I would say for 99% of us this is going to be an upgrade. Shoot I can sell my other ARs used for more then this, and this is a much better rifle! Imagine if I had to console, the family of those slayed, I slain on game consoles...

Thanks OP, just got off of the phone, they have one in stock on hold for me till I get there, what a deal! I have been wanting to FF my 6920 with an alpha rail forever, as well as get the battlesights, etc. Sshwaeeeet! Time to haul ass
 . No dick 10% off though .

Shoot $1100 is still a great deal for these components. Also, I just spoke with Troy today and was informed they MFG everything on this rifle. |

Im an AR noob. Does the Troy have any advantages over a Colt AR? Obviously the Colt is more expensive but price aside would you still prefer the Troy?

As the owner of one of these rifles, they are top-notch. I paid full price for mine a few weeks ago (the thought of it being $300 off the normal price on black friday never crossed my mind). But $799 for this rifle is a deal and a half.

If their upper and lower are HALF as good as all of their other stuff which is of superb quality (Troy is the shiot), then IMO, my 6920 would go before this one, as a matter of fact it will be  .
