I know, I've seen these deals but was waiting on Fry's before I made a decision. My laptop is SATA 2 so I don't need anything like the Samsung 840. There have been plenty of drives on sale around $150-170 all month.
Getting down to Tustin is a hassle via Public Transportation. I guess I can hang out for 8 hours since they open at 8am and the last bus drops me off just after 11pm on Thurs.
I have the 240gb version of this for 5 months already. It's rock solid and only had 1 Blue screen when I updated the video drivers. I get a 7.9 on the WEI also. I think this is a good deal even with the tax instead of waiting for who knows when another sale will be at Newegg or Amazon
Thanks, I may consider this if I can't get the 180GB which will cover what I need. Since I have a server and 250GB laptop drive + WHS 2011 I don't need a huge local disk.
