i've done the wet installation many times on my iphone 4 without any problems. even with after getting excessive water on my phone everything worked fine afterwards. on that note, i'm not a huge fan of the xtremeguards because the smudging is terrible.

SGP looks pretty good too, i'm really considering them. But it is very pricey.

The phone has Gorilla Glass 2 front and back. It's a fact.

Gorilla Glass is highly resistant to scratches, and supposedly does very well against keys and fingernails. But glass is not indestructible... yes, it can break and crack. It can also be scratched by find particles like sand.

I'm also looking at SGP. I don't care much about the price, $13 is worth it. My issue is they don't have a protector for the back.

Ok my comment will be a little bit different. I have used a xtreme guard protector on my Gnex since June. Let me just say that its a garbage screen protector. Honest to goodness, the stock one that came with my diztronic case was better.

Installation is easy being wet and all. The quality is crap. These screen protectors have a rubberized feel to them and any kind of force applied to them such as a key or nail will leave a permanent indentation on them. Not to mention that also because its rubberized, you won't be able to glide your finger over the screen with ease. So my screen is littered with all sorts of pits and dents. Maybe its just me, but just had to say this.

I wish I could order the phone

Yes that was my issue too, i emailed them about it but with this deal i'll probably use extremeguard for the back and SGP for the front eventually. I'll see how extreme guard is first.
Have you had experience with them? I like dry application because of the glass like finish but will it scratch easily? A lot of the cheap plastic ones scratches easily and i'm hoping SGP won't scratch at all, if so i'm gonna buy that for sure. It'll be nice to always have your screen looking flawless.
