Sony Blu-ray Player Built-in WiFi Streaming Services $69 AC

If this is indeed the same player, it's pretty nice.

For those asking about amazon prime, the bx39 and s390 is indeed compatible even though the user manual doesn't mention it:

This all of course assumes that the tiger direct model is either the bx39 or s390. Googling the model # of tiger's page only brings up resellers, but the model # isn't even listed on Sony's website.

Anyone know if I'd be able to stream movies from PS3 media server to this?

If this is the same as the BDP-S390, according to Amazon it's their bestseller. This seems like the best offering I've seen for non-3D BR player with wi-fi.

I might have to pick this up even though I would love to wait and see if Sony will sell those refurbed blu-ray player with google tv on their ebay store again.

Seems weird about the different experiences with free shipping. The double asterisk next to "free shipping" indicates:

Samsung website says the only apps it has are Netflix, CinemaNow, and YouTube. Much more with the Sony.

To get the free shipping, make sure to put in your zip code on the first page, otherwise the economy shipping option doesn't show up later in the cart. I had $7.70 tax on mine though in FL.

It must have only been dropped for an hour or so - I was able to pick up two before the price jumped back up. Keep an eye on it over the weekend - I wouldn't be surprised if it dipped again.

I saw the other post on SD about it.. too bad!! But i'll watch for it...

Tigerdirect sucks. I checked on my order after a few days, backordered with no estimated in stock date. I tried calling them multiple times and was on hold for half an hour before I gave up. Their "live help" is consistently busy and won't work. Finally I got a hold of them, and they have no idea when it will be back in stock.
