Amazon false advertising

Today I was looking at Amazon and came across the deal
FITUP v17 Smart Bracelet/Smart Watch-Fitness Tracker, Sleep Monitor, Heart Rate Monitor, Text Message Notification (Red
List Price:$109.99With Deal:$18.99
Free Shipping for Prime Members
You Save:$91.00 (83%).
I then researched the item to verify the " list" price.
No where could I find a list price for same item over 35.00. I contacted Amazon, which was an extreme waste of 45 minutes . Is this legal do post an extremly high list price, the advertise a huge savings from this price.
Of course I did not purchase this item. After speaking with 3 different Amazon reps, I was told there is no person at Amazon that I could speak too that could explain the list price. UGH

Not sure why this would surprise you. Retailers have been doing it for years.
P.S. What part of PVR do you live in? It's one of my favorite places. Had a condo at the south end of the Malecon for a while.
