This is not a smart TV.. looks like no smart tv apps after shelling out $800+
and a LED TV with a good quality picture

if this price bothers you and you want features I would suggest an LG

live near a Frys?

I just got Samsung UN60D7000 for $1250. Is it worth it, or should I buy this one?
That's cheaper than I bought the 46" for last year, its a great TV, so yes, you got a good deal.

It looks good on paper - but it gets no heat around here...Any ideas?

Damm I think you are right BB might have conned me!! Consumer reports rated the similar UN55EH6000 and it states the TV does not have smart features. Might be cancelling soon...
Who cares, buy a BD-E5700 to get the SmartTV widgets for less than $100 (I think it's going for 89 this week) and call it a day and you get the added benefits of a quick loading blu-ray player.

You don't get SmartTV until the ES6100 series (@ $1099 until the 26th) or the EH5300 series which is not 120hz.

The UN55EH6001 series seems to be a Best Buy exclusive, beating the 55EH6000 for 77-79.

There is very little benefit to having SmartTV built into the TV itself as opposed to into the Blu-Ray player.
I'd also suggest hardwiring an ethernet cable as WiFi built in is usually inconsistent at best.

How is it compared to the one which costco has with 2 year manufacturer warranty? I believe the model is UN55EH6050 @ $849

Frys ran a deal on the 46D7000 with 2 pairs of glasses and a free bluray player for $1099 last year

while BB had the same deal for like $1699..

what did you pay?

in for Best Buy deal, this model is 6001, not 6000. amazon and best buy both priced the 6000 @ 877ish.

Very good suggestion! Thanks I do already have a Smart Blue Ray player so it is probably overkill..
