not that great of a deal on the 7", i think nexus 7 at 199 is still a much better deal.

Damn Costco... where can we get a petition going for them to just lower the price, instead of dealing with being charge tax on the pre-coupon price ....

My mom is a member but I am not. I scanned her card's barcode in the KeyRing app on my phone. Think I would be able to have them scan my phone instead of the card to be able to purchase this?

The processor on the Galaxy 7" is comparable to the Mini (not the same chip though). The Mini has a bigger screen, but Galaxy has more pixel per inch (pixel density) and about half the price of the Mini.

Just a personal preference, I have an iPad but want a 7" device to play with and bought the Galaxy 7" because of the higher pixel density and cheaper price. I will use it mainly to play video/TV.

Nexus 7 has a faster processor, but no slot for SD card. Many also reported problem with the screen that need to be returned/replaced.

So it is a personal preference, Nexus 7 is a winner in speed, and Galaxy 7" can expand memory easily via MicroSD cards.

Fry's will have the 10" tab on sale thursday for $299 - $50 fry gift card = $250 + tax on $299 (not on $380 like costco). I say, Fry's deals is much better.

just bought the Tab 10.1 from costco. They charged the tax on the lower price (after instant rebate) not the pre-rebate total. Plus the salesman confirmed that the Tablet is not considered as a computer and falls under a lifetime return policy. I do not know how true that is?

The costco deal include the OEM sleeve and I believed Costco covers 2years warranty on electronic for no extra cost (could anyone confirm)? If it is true, i would value Costco is a better deal especially they have a better return policy.

At my costco, they greet me by name after scanning my card "Hello Mr. xxxx" (yes, my last name is four 'x's) and I'm pretty sure their register screen shows the photo on the card. So unless you look like your mom...good luck.

They charged me tax on the higher price . But still not a bad deal considering I also got the sleeve.

Got a raincheck today for the 10.1". Was hoping the rain check would be for the final price but they actually have the ability to raincheck just the $100 coupon. Looks like i'll still have to pay the higher tax.

Wish there was a Costco inventory checker....
