This would be great!

But, what kind of stand would I need?

man we made it to 13 posts and not one DLP HATER has popped in to tell us how shitty this tv is...
new record..
Wellllll. I would love one of these (the slightly smaller sizes have also been on sale recently) just so I could say my home tv is bigger than the one at the local beer hall.

But I doubt I'd be able to play videogames on this. I can't even find a plasma I'm sure about for that (except the ST30 which is the same price as the ST50 ATM)

And, if I spend and extra $1500 now how can I afford that upgrade in ~2-3 years?
Looking for a 73 Mits.
I use this TV Stand:
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog...#/20105341

I can confirm it can hold the 92" Mitsubishi despite specs saying it's for "143lb" and this TV being "233lb" (Perhaps because all the weight isn't in the very middle)

I use 2 of the IKEA TV stands with my Mitsubishi, it looks fantastic, I'm too lazy to get a pic, but if you really want me to I will.

But I've owned just about every size Mitsubishi DLP, and the great thing is these things get cheap, and if you get them on sale they get even cheaper, and the resale value is really good as well.

I bought a 60" Mitsubishi for $600 way back in the day...
Sold it for $800

I then bought a 65" for $800...
Sold it for $900

I then bought a 73" for $700...
Sold it for $1,200

I then bought a 82" for $1300...
Sold it for $1700

So I keep every TV for about 6~ months while I wait for a great deal on the bigger TV... If you do the math, years ago I paid $600 for my 60", and since have upgraded to a 82" for free and even made money during that upgrade. (I bought a few 73" when they were on sale last black friday for $700)

So yea, when you find a slick deal on these DLP's, I suggest you pull the trigger, worst case scenario a lot of times you can resell it. Just a few weeks ago I got my buddy to go from his 70" Sharp LED to the Mitsubishi 82" DLP (The $1,400 one a few weeks ago), and he absolutely loves it!

As far as this being a good deal, keep in mind I monitor the prices of these DLP's daily, and this IS the cheapest I've seen it, but they do average $2,700~ on a normal sale (Amazon has it daily for $2800~)... and if you see a used one for less then $1,500 on Amazon, keep in mind it's a scam... don't even get me started on that experience :/

Dam.. I'm going to have to ship the other five to my second address. I was looking for a couple cheap tvs to stick in the back of my son's bedroom on our family yacht. The old 150" plasma's didn't do us any good and the 4k tv's response time was too bad. In for 10!
