I purchased same puter tonight it was 479. plus tax 501 OTD it was this or toshbia which was 499 plus tax, but had the 49 dollar rebate. They did not have toshibia on the floor and was told by people that Lenovo is a better laptop.
Did they try to sell you the 95 dollar set up, said that to set up windows 8 is impossible.. tech said he took 12 hour course ,,just took it home still in box

I picked one up.. figured for someone who does internet and office, this is a no brainer

I picked one up last night. Arrived at the store about 30 minutes before closing. I was able to inspect a display model before purchasing. The store had plenty in stock.

I did have a little trouble getting them to accept the coupon because the email coupon I printed out was missing the coupon code number and the bar code would not scan. While I was using my phone to look up the code, a manager came over, said she had one, and gave the cashier the code. In fact, she bought the same computer for herself (store had just closed when I was checking out and I was the last customer).

I am a little concerned about having Windows 8, but with a 14 day no-hassle return policy I can try it out and return it if I don't like it.

Final price will be $327 after $50 rebate. I am not as tech savvy as many other SDers, but judging from what I have seen, this seems like an excellent value for a solid machine. I've also had a good experience with Toshiba - my last one got me through 3 years of graduate school with heavy use without any problems.

The Fuji, hands down.

Third Gen i3 is a better processor, USB 3.0, Windows 7. If you can add another 4GB stick of RAM, this unit will last several years. The other one is already obsolete.

I got mine last night, in and out in 5 minutes no problems.
I already hate windows 8.
buy I'm hedging my bet if i dont score the laptop i want tonight.
