For those who want to compare this to the Dell 14z that was also $299, I compared the processors at Notebookcheck.net's Benchmarklist [notebookcheck.net] for these laptops and found the following:

Staples' Toshiba Pentium B980 [notebookcheck.net] is position 111 vs. Dell's 14z i3-2350M [notebookcheck.net] at position 82. If you look at each of their individual pages for the respective processors, these laptops are quite comparable. If you missed out on the Dell 14z, this Toshiba should be fine for you still, especially if you're a regular user (i.e., not a gamer, or does video editing and such).

Since the $100 off coupon was good for only one day (Wed., 11/21), this deal is no longer available.

EDIT - I suppose you could print out the coupon and try to use it. Maybe the code will still work in the system when the cashier inputs the number.
