best buy's site is so screwed up. it's now showing white 32gb as add to cart but of course the button doesn't work.

if you don't already know this, the ipad3 really struggles with graphics performance. the screen is awesome but the GPU is underpowered. there are several instances where the ipad 3 underperforms vs the ipad 2.its a PITA, but make sure you check out the ipad 4 before you buy.

Where did you hear this? I have both the iPad2 and the iPad3 (The new iPad) and the biggest difference for me is the screen. I don't see a speed difference. If its just test numbers from nerds who like to measure clock speeds all the time please show me a link.

From my perspective, I watch movies at about the same speed. It loads up all my apps at around the same speed. I surf the web at about the same speed. Those numbers mean little to me if I can't tell a difference.

What's the iPad4? Do you mean the iPad mini?

This deal has been going on since I got the email at 5am. I'm surprised it lasted this long.

So I went to my local target today to make sure they would be selling the newer iPad retina display (4th generation) that has the A6 dual core processor chips (which by all accounts nearly doubles your performance speed). Well when i asked the employees, they knew nothing about what i was asking (typical) and kept referring me to the iPad mini being the only new model (Wrong!). So i could only use the display and boxes they had in stock as their current inventory.

Well you guessed it, A5 dual core chips, meaning target is selling you the 3rd generation iPads, but charging you the 4th gen prices, and sugar coating it with a $60 giftcard.

I wont be wasting my time with target this year.

Everybody in the market for an iPad, make sure you dont get duped by this.
