Two hours for nearly 1200 drives sold. Those of you waiting for $150 are really pushing it.

Yep, it's gone.
Anyone holding out for a return of a $150 (or less) deal on the 830 256GB should forget about it. Stock is limited enough that if a price of $170 or less shows up again, they'll be gone just as quickly as this. If we see $155 or $160 at a retailer like Newegg or Amazon, I expect them to sell out in minutes. |

I just called MacMall and he said they have 153 back orders and are expected to receive 200 drives today.

Wow, I thought for sure I would be ruing buying it for $160 when BF came around. From the look of things, it looks like it's going to be OOS before it goes down below the $160 mark. Given the crazy demand for these SSDs at the $160-$175 price point, it doesn't seem like anyone is going to bother lowering the 830 prices much for BF. They won't have any trouble emptying out their stock either way.

I've been eyeing on it. Was really waiting for 512's to go down to sub $300s but I don't think it would happen in near future for Samsung/Intel drives. Was really debating on this SSD vs Applecare for the Gift card I had with BH. :/ this won ! haha |

Dangit, I skipped a slickdeal for the 830 when it was $160, thought I should just wait and see what happens on Black Friday... shoulda woulda coulda bit on that one!

Well i just ordered it from MacMall at the $167 price plus $8 shipping. Because the item is out of stock, you cannot get the free shipping.
