I've never liked nortons. They cause more issues than they solve. For home users, I'd just go with the free Microsoft Security Essentials and then throw in a malwarebytes and SpyBot Search and Destroy.

If you got the EB email for extra $10 rebate on a $50+ purchase during the season, this satisfies that.

There's some serious issues with this product. I've usued Norton for years...but they sure got this one wrong. Your screen saver won't work after install, due to programs Norton is running in the background. they know about it....have for months now....and still no fix.

I was just expecting this deal.
Internet Security is what I prefer, not the simpler Antivirus version. Every year NIS shoes up on Slick Deals as a free deal (after rebate) at around Thanksgiving. That's why my Norton subscription is always expiring at around middle December, so these Thanksgiving deals are great for me. I will be able to upgrade to the 2013 version without interruption! Thanks for this deal! |
