Sears Online Doorbusters Start Tonight at 8pm for All Shoppers!

Can someone pls tell me if the 32 inch for 99 bucks will be part of this 9EST sale? I searched by item number (from someone's prior post) and it states item not known/unavailable/etc.

Right, it's better. Why does she need an extra $17 discount to make it worth it!? Just let it be.... she got a TV for $97 and is happy with it. Yes she dropped from 1080 to 720 but like you said you probably won't notice anyway and she also ended up with an led over the lcd, which costs more if you view their seiki TVs. Way I see it she made out better on the deal.

Sears did this for more a couple years ago on a dishwasher during some big appliance sales event. They had me waiting in the store for a sales rep for a while, by the time they got to me the appliance i wanted was out of stock. Sales rep had manager come over and explained the situation. Manager authorized the sale and gave me an elite version that was roughly $400 more for the same price.

The ad lists that tv as a Thursday doorbuster, and those are the ones that are supposedly going live tonight. I would say it looks good that it will be up. Good luck!

Seems there's a lot of talk about previous cancellations in the past. So what's the best option here if you snag a TV when everything goes batshit crazy at 8pm cst -- have it shipped or pick it up?

Any good deals to be had here?

BTW, are the deals just going to be on the general pages or is there some place in particular we should be looking for tonight's deals? Thanks

Because they didn't have the item in stock that she ordered.

If you buy a TV and it says its 1080p, it should be 1080p.

The Sears ad is intentionally ambiguous with this doorbuster in that it says "Models may vary by store."

Online it wasn't very ambiguous, you had the Item #, description and tech specs.

I wouldn't say she made out better, if anything, I'd say its a wash because she got the LED version instead of LCD.

I think I'd still rather have an 1080p LCD over 720p LED, although the LED would have better blacks, etc. I guess I'd have to spend some time with each unit to compare... which would be downright impossible since most Sears stores have the Doorbuster TVs (i.e. Toshiba & Seiki) locked up in the warehouse and they aren't able to even look up their inventory or anything on them in the system.

And... if she would have gotten the order cancelled, which it probably should have been since they never had the item in stock.... she probably would have gotten $100 in points free on her SYWR account.... on anything.
