I'm taking my chance and waiting for 830 to hit $70 again. Of course, the problem with waiting for the Samsung 830 is that they will no longer be produced after this month. Since they are pretty popular, you may not see another $70 price point again, so you're taking a chance.

If it wasn't for the fact that I'm trying to backup my HDD on to SDD to modify the partition, I'd jumped on this deal. The problem with the SF controller based SDDs is that once you hit certain storage threshold, the SF based SDD takes a massive performance hit; with or without TRIM. It's worst with non-compressible data (MP3, Movies, etc.).

Can somebody please suggest that how should I install this intel 180 GB SSD along with two Kingston 120GB Hyperx 3k on ASUS P8Z68-V Pro motherboard with i7 - 2600K CPU?

If I already didn't score two 830 SSDs a couple weeks back I would so be al over this. Rep for great SSD.

by the time i look this up this will sell out. If anybody know, can they compare read/write with samsung 830.

Also, is this sanforce controller?
