Anybody have any clue if there might be a card in the $150-180 range for sale this BF/CM, and what that card might be?

This card is great as long as you have the proper power supply in your computer. I got it 4 months ago for around 400 bucks. It takes TWO pcie power supply lines! Runs Diablo 3 at max everything without any slowdown or problems.

How does this compare to the HD 7970 going for the about the same price?

Been using this exact card since launch (May 10th) - it's performed great, and the drivers as of August have really fixed issues with everything, except Ambient Occlusion which I leave Off. I notice I can hear the fans spin up and spin down in bursts at odd intervals - I still want to look into that, since it makes no sense based on the load or what I'm doing in the game(s). It can run almost anything at max - I usually never turn a single setting down. I run @1080p 60hz though - I don't think this card can run most recent games at 120Hz on Max, based on the FPS I get, without seeing some tearing.

How does this compare to the HD7950 deals recently? Is the 3gb memory on HD more important than the 2gb in GTX670 if I play in three monitors?
