If anyone does find that perfect step by step tutorial, please post it. That said, from the sounds of it, the pre-sold cards do not necessarily work for everyone (nor the paid downloadable images) so I would be wary about paying for them in the hopes of a simple solution. Nobody cares about your politics.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/s...?t=1466583. below is the summary: download the file, write the image to SD card. Power off the tablet, put the sd card in the slot. power on. The table should boot into CWM mode where you can intalled the rom by select zip file. (wipe cache and data first). after done, power off. take the sd card out. Power on the tablet. after the table success reboot, press the "N" button, then select the android launcher which take you to the root interface. put the sd card back, then select file manager from the tablet, find folder "apps" or something like from the external sd card, look for revoery.apk. install that. after the installation done, open the recovery app, click "flash CWM". once that done. take out the sd card. Do a reboot, which you will see a option "reboot" or "recovery". select recovery, you will able to to see CWM where you can install other rom and other zip file. I download a cm10 roms(in zip format) and put in a different sd card, and flash from there. Piece of cake. Ooh, I have the 16gb tablet from Staples. to go gack to Stock rom: http://raywaldo.com/2012/05/root-...wm-sdcard/ yes, I tried that. works perfect. download the file, write the image to the sd card(I did use class 4 16gb sd card). power off tablet, put the sd card in, power on. then just let it run. takes about 10-15 min. Your tablet will be in stock 1.40 firmware like you first got it. Last edited by rmcv123; 11-26-2012 at 10:48 AM.. |
