Sorry for the dumb question.
Where can I locate the Motherboard Serial Number required for the rebate form? TIA |

typically the serial number is located on the board itself and it's usually printed on a sticker, there's only one sticker on this board so I can only assume it's that but it's not labeled which sucks. The characters under the upc seem to start the same as the code on the board but it's not the same which is odd.

Just looked up the serial number. Look on the bottom of the bottom-most PCI slot:

So, those who are still submitting the rebate. The MB serial is not the first obvious sticker you see in the middle of the board. Tilt the board, so you see around the PCI slot. There's another sticker there, this is the serial. |

I picked up one of these, installed an old E6300 I wasn't using and bought a cheap G-Skill 8GB kit from Newegg. Installed Ubuntu and this thing is plenty fast! Might even pair it up with an old X25-M instead of the spinning disk I have in there now. A no-brainer for a FAR item.
