I apologize if this his has already been posted (searched and didnt see it). Smoking hot off the press, Sprint is basically matching Sams Clubs price for the S3!!!! nod

My dad called 7 plus times because of a billing issue and then he seen the deal for .99 and it just worked in his favor. And as far as the CS rep was talking, they DIDNT want to loose his business..

Only keep calling 7+ times if you don't value your account. Sprint has terminated service of people who call them too many times with issues.

This is active now, you have to call 1888-273-9460 .This is the retentions dept. and takes about 20 mins from start to finish. They are going to tell you they cant do it and they will only give us the 49.99 price. Just keep calling if they dont give you the price. My dad called and they said I see that you have called 7 times and your account is at risk (as in my dad was not being treated right, and he could potentially cancel the service ) what can we do. And he just said that he wanted the Sams club price match of .96, but Sprint does .99. She put him on hold a bit, but then it went thru. Good luck.

888-882-4030 for Everything Plus Plans. I called this number 2 times. The second time I asked to speak to their supervisor, the supervisor knew exactly what I was talking about and transfered me to Account Services. I made sure that the supervisor stayed on the line with me during the transfer. The Account Services rep was confused at first, but after she spoke to her supervisor everything was a go.

Thanks so much for this thread!!

My GF just called the number since she is due to renew her contract, asked about the PM to Sam's, got put on hold, Sprint rep came back and said yes and BOOM! New phone is ordered and on the way.

My GF told me the hardest part about this whole process was trying to figure out if she should get the black or white one!
She just did this two minutes ago, is still on the phone finishing up now so it is still working!

I called the 888-882-4030 # which played a prerecorded message and then automatically disconnected. I then called the 888-273-9460 # and waited on hold for @20 minutes. The CSR that answered said the best price for the GSIII was $49. I then told her about the Sams Club deal and she said yes I could get that price as a Sams Club member but had to check with her Manager who of course approved the deal. I then told CSR I couldn't find my Sams membership number so she entered hers. CSR then said they are currently out of stock but should be shipping in 7-10 days and offered me choice of Blue or White.

FYI - I tried to get the "upgrade" free of $36 waived but CSR was firm that no additional discounts were available for this deal. What's the trick for getting the $36 waived or a $50 credit as some have posted here?

what are you guys exactly saying when you call? I had called two times already and they shut me down for the 99 cents deal stating they won't pricematch sams club. I have to pay an early upgrade fee plus activation which makes it $135

anyone got tips?

Just got it. SERO-P here.

Called 18888768381. Spoke with Takisha or some such after a 30 minute hold. Told her that Sam's told me to call retentions yesterday, and retentions told me to call 18887688381 today. Takisha told me she needed to transfer me to employee account services or to call employee account telesales (the 18888824030 in the Wiki). I told her I tried the 4030 number but that it is automatically hanging up. Takisha told me she is aware of that and that's why she said she'd transfer me to account services. I agreed.

I got on the line with Karen after another 20 minute wait. You know when you're about to get someone within 5 minutes when the prompts between the music tell you "next available representative". I was very nice to Karen, asked her how her day has been, thanked her for taking my call today, and told her she was the kindest voice I've heard all morning. We looked up my account, made small talk about Thanksgiving dinner and BF shopping. She knew all about the pricing, pushed it through in less than 10 minutes.

$1.04 shipped.

Your girlfriend might want to make sure she's getting the S3. The S3 comes in white and blue, not black.

I have an everything plus plan so I called that number this morning. I had to call 12 times to get through (kept getting the automated message that hung up on you.) After a 10 minute hold time "Zachary" picked up.

I told them my contract was coming up for renewal in January and that my wife and I were looking at other carriers. However we had been told by several people that I could call in and get an S3 for .99. He insisted that the only deal available was $49 and they didn't price match. I asked again and he transferred me to account services.

After a 20 minute hold I got a very nice account service rep. I told her the same thing and she knew about it. However she said that since my upgrade wasn't until January I wasn't eligible for a free early upgrade until mid December. I said that I didn't know what deals they would have then and I really wanted this phone. She offered to do an early upgrade for $50 per line. That obviously kills the deal so I said that we couldn't do that and asked if there was anything else she could do. She then offered a $100 credit when we called to activate the phones to offset the early upgrade cost.

She gave me the confirmation number for the $100 credit and told me she had to wait for that to go through. She got my information and said she would call me back within 5 hours to process the order for the s3 phones. So, I'm waiting on a call back.

Persevere, slickdealers! Spent an hour on the phone speaking to three different CSRs but finally got someone who was happy to sell me a blue one for .99 and waive the activation fee.

I'm so glad I found this thread yesterday. I had no idea this was going on.

I tried three times last night but to no avail. This morning, I went through *2 route and followed prompts till cancellations option which had me on hold for fifteen minutes - landed a very nice rep. Basically I said I was unhappy with sprint and was considering switching since my contract expired on four of our five lines last week. She asked if I was interested in S III upgrades for a dollar. Big Grin I jumped right on. I only wanted to upgrade the three lines though.

For activation fees, she said she was not able to waive them but was able to credit the account for 40 dollars for next four months plus five dollars off each of the upgraded line for next four months - bringing the credits to $55 for each of next four months. Right now, I only had to pay $12 for three lines for price + tax!! + $108 for activation fees of three lines (which will show up on my next bill) --- MINUS $220 credits over next four months ($55 credit already showing on my account!).

Basically, I get three top of the line phones for free, no activation fee and $100!! All of that and sprint gets my another two-year commitment. Well played, Sprint!

The rep said only account service were able to offer this deal. No one else. Not the telesales dept.

Now to waiting for them to be delivered - Nov 28th cant come soon enough!
