Already have the cisco e4200v2 that I bought for $170 in the spring, but it sucks so hard.

Tempted to buy this one. $40> is a steal.

Is this better than the Asus one that was posted earlier today. I cannot find out why that router is $159 even if it was 450 mbps only

BTW, people asking about Tomato - I am pretty sure this wireless router is based on Atheros which is not supported by Tomato

I went with this one. Was deciding for hour or so. This one now has DD-WRT support. For $20 expensive, this will do the job. Plus this one is 750mbps and Asus is 600mbps. Not that it makes a big difference unless you want specific QoS.

Forget DD-WRT, Gargoyle firmware support is one of the better reasons to get this router.

oh i am reading about Gargoyle for the first time I just returned WR1043ND after trying it for 10 days and I am just reluctant to pull the trigger for another TP Link

I cant decide between this or the $55 ASUS N16 or the $70 ASUS RT-N56U. The N56 U has a sturdy firmware I heard and is dual band but no open source support....
options... options....

yayyy!!! So many routers are up. Any reviews anyone? DD-WRT? Tomato?
One of the few high end routers supported by OpenWRT too.

I've been waiting for a good deal on this one, even though I have too many routers already! None of the others are supported... Not even my E3000.

Or else.......There is always a return option. Just make sure you don't cut UPC and test it.

Rebate terms state: "One rebate claim per product per name/household/address". Does this mean only one rebate per address or could you purchase different items and get more than one rebate. i.e. 2 different routers or a router and a switch?

Yay, another MIR. Newegg just loves those. At least this isn't the usual $5 rebate.

Also available from B&H:

81.94 - 40.00 = 41.94

Might be slightly cheaper if you're taxed by Newegg.

Yay... bought this yesterday. They issued a credit for the price differential!!! Newegg rocks as usual. On a side note I'm being a whiny baby with Newegg CS's this year...
