With the no tax and free shipping, this is about as low as you'll find a pair of 559's for men.

Picked up a pair of 514's in Tumbled Rigid for like $26 + tax. I've had a pair of 514's for a few years now in a different wash that are a 32L but those have become a little short so I sized up to a 34L this time. I just hope that the sizing inconsistencies I've been reading about doesn't mean that these will be too long and have to be returned...

yeah, but I knew they had the same style/color in stock. I'm not sure what they'd do if you brought in a style/color that they didn't carry, but levi's website [levi.com] (and their receipts) say

so it should still work. I think as long as it's not obvious what you're doing (e.g., don't try it with 6 pairs of jeans, don't try it with jeans that are obviously not close to your size, etc.), you should be fine

I think you meant that anything heavier then 11 oz feels like cardboard, which is how I like mine too. I only buy 501 STF's today, because all the others are too thin.

However, I was in JCP the other day and noticed that some of their newer jeans were quite heavy. I think some of them may have been a canvas twill, or something other material, which is fine by me.

You don't consider the 501 STF's legitimately RAW and Selvedge? If not, they probably do have some that you would, but I don't buy anything but 501 STF's. They work will for me, although the ones made in Haiti always seem a bit too thin.
