You buy the gift card at Rite Aid. Ends today. You buy $50 gift card and you get $10 store credit to spend in store. It's a great deal if you shop at Rite Aid.

You also need to have a RA card.

It's a shame RA "fixed" this deal. They ran this promo a few month back, and there was a "glitch" in the system, where you only had to buy a $20 HI card, to get the $10 UP. These HI card are discover cards, so you can actually buy other gift cards available at Lowes, HD, etc. I flipped it for a bunch of Amazon the last time around at Lowes.

Thanks for the info

So, does Lowes still allow you to buy a different gift card with this Home Improvement card?

Sounds like a slick way to go nod

Is there a fee on the card?

They should. I just did it today at Lowes. Bad thing with the new RA store credit is that you won't be able to use the UP rewards till the next day. If you do plan to go, Arm&Hammer detergent is buy 2@$6, and you will get back $7 in UP reward ($3,2,2). Ends tonight.

No fee. I think they are only programed to work at HI stores, but they are discover cards. In the past, I was able to use (5) $20 HI card to purchase a $100 Amazon GC.

I went tonight to get four of the A&H and the shelves were completely bare of all A&H. So I got a raincheck. I had read on here that one would get $7 in UP rewards on each two. But all I could find in the flyer was the

Where are the extra $2 and $2 coming from? I thought someone said something about monthly rewards but cashier said she'd never heard of monthly rewards that I must mean online rebate but that doesn't make sense as those come as a check not an UP reward.

I wonder what are my chances of being able to convert it at Home Depot to a gas card, presuming they sell those? If I went to Sears, would it scan at any register for any purchase or is it up to the cashier to read the card and restrict it to certain item. Home improvement items could be very broad.

If you got one of these, it will go nicely with the True Value coupon for 50% off one item $50 or less. This was in the True Value flyer. Expires today 11/25/12.

You can get any Gift card using this at Lowes. I brought GC's worth of around 300$ using the HI cards at Lowes during the Thx Giving weekend.
I brought Shell/BP/Amazon/Staples GC's as per my requirement.
No issues at all, these HI cards scan fine when you swipe it for any purchase at Lowes.

Bah! no Lowes around here. I went to Home Depot and they don't sell gas cards or indeed any gift cards other then their own.

Has anyone successfully bought gas cards at Sears?
