My order went through last night at 9:54 pm cts. Granted it was 6 minutes before the official deal was on, but as pointed out above, it went live early. This morning I checked on the status, it was cancelled. Not even an email. Anyone else get cancelled?

i ordered @ 11:06 EST and had confirmation, card was charged. Order cancelled... Called and said they oversold... total BS

This startled me! I just checked my order status and I still seem to be good to go:

The item has been initialized within the shipping group
Arrives between Monday, 11/26/2012 and Tuesday, 12/04/2012

I'm gonna be bummed out if I get canceled!

On phone with Amazon's large item team and looks like they are not price matching even if other department which I chatted last night promised me in chat...and I have the transcript of the chat!

Any suggestion here how to fight this battle...

This is not surprising. Almost no retailer/etrailer will match Black Friday stuff.

Cancel the order.

Just got my shipping confirmation as well.

Hmm..., I also just snagged the 60" at Walmart.com. One them is going back - what's the better value?

My order also went through before 11:00 PM EST. Received email confirmation & credit card charged. But the order status is CANCELLED this morning. I called customer service, rep was very unhelpful. Definately not the right way to handle the situation. They should put item on backorder if they oversold. Especially for orders they confirmed and charged.

Mine also says shipped but im still a bit worried - this whole process with Sam's had been shady

1. tv went on sale well before the stated 11pm est time
2. sold out before the time it was supposed to be released for sale
3. site crashed after word got out deal was live
