back ordered item was shipped just now. Gotta go home and start checking it for any RETURN need. UPS forced us to SIGN the delivery to touch it.

Opened and tested.. looks like its working alright.. didnt find any dead pixels so far. The model is NON-TT. I am going to submit my rebate and see..

Update: Spoke to TD guy. They said that I am eligible for the rebate and asked me to submit it. Submitted (rebate submitted online last month itself, now sending the UPC code etc.)

Mine is still backordered. Hope they can send to me before rebate deadline.

I think you butted to the front of the line... .. Everything look good?

After some viewing sessions, I noticed this HDTV does terrible with dark scenes.. you can totally see the artifacts. Has anyone messed with the image settings to minimize this problem? Of course, I'm complaining even though I paid only $129 for this thing.

I do not have this issue. Unless you mean over-the-air or cable channels - I get artifacts on black scenes on any TV if it's OTA or cable. However, when the source is BluRay or Xbox 1080p, I do not have artifacts, so the problem is the source, not the TV itself. If you're having artifacts when watching BluRay or Xbox, then you may have a defective cable, player or TV.

You are terribly right.. I got into the front of the line and with a bonus 2nd day Air upgrade, for my last call to the Tiger.
The TV is good. my other TCL remote is working for this new one also. Didnt find any dead pixies.. the back side got bit popped up but I have pressed it back, its looking normal now.
Also I got the non TT model. Started a dispute for $70 MIR form since that was popped up with my order confirmation. They are gonna get back to me. If they star dancing, I will open a dispute with my Credit card guys to block $70.(on the top of this, Tiger has sent a diff model TV (non TT) to my order confirmation(TT model).
Lets see.. I think I am too greedy to play with Tiger..

I saw no such issues with dvds and bluerays. Did see some using netflix.

Rebate card has now been shipped to me.
