Mine is saying the same thing.

I have an origination scan in Hodgkins, IL with delivery scheduled for Tuesday.
Don't worry, it should say departed early Monday morning or late depending on where you live or had it shipped to look around

I'm not trying to argue with you either... I just want people to stop calling TigerDirect about rebates before we even have the TVs in our possession.

In response to what you said:
I have never seen any "mail-in" rebates on TCL TVs before. If you can find me a rebate form from someone other than TigerDirect on a TCL TV, I'll eat my words.

Amazon has had "instant rebates" on TCL TVs... but that's not the same thing. It's another way of saying we're having a sale.

I never said they would refuse to honor the rebate for anyone who already submitted. I just said drawing attention to the rebate is not a good idea, especially for those who haven't submitted. Some people might not have submitted because they placed duplicate orders and were trying to cancel one.

If TigerDirect pulled a $60 rebate for a software title, its within the realm of possibility that they could pull this one too. The rebate was not advertised on TigerDirect.com, so they could easily get by with it.

Lastly, this is a TigerDirect exclusive rebate. You can tell that by the Offer #. 4MyRebate codes their rebates by manufacturer or retailer:

TD = TigerDirect
NC = Nuance
PAT = Patriot Memory
OCZ = OCZ
AP = Advance Auto Parts

Whether or not this is fully funded by the manufacturer, we'll never know. We don't work in the Rebate Center, so we have no idea how these funds are dispersed and where they came from.

What I do know is this.... $130 AR is rock-bottom on this TV.... and definitely below dealer cost when you factor in shipping.

The cheapest price this model sells elsewhere is $300 + tax... and that's at a wholesale club (Sam's). Everywhere else is selling it at $350 to $380 per unit.
Seriously, first, people were afraid not getting a TV, now after the shipping confirmation, people talks about not getting the rebate because Tiger substitute a different model, seriously people, do you want the TV or not?

The TV was advertized at $179, why would anyone wants to call Tiger and complain you may not get a rebate or some people wants do a charge back with the credit card company, The Rebate was never advertized by Tiger Direct in the first place, if anyone don't want the TV because of the rebate just refuse shipment, simple as that.

People seriously needs to get over the rebate part, we got what was promised a nice 39" led tv for $179 with free shipping and cash back, there is no need to alert them about the rebate and possibly ruins it for everyone, heck the rebate is not even listed on their site.

got a response from the email i sent them thursday about the price change. they said that they will credit my account in the next 3-5 business days. 39" LED tv for only 179.99 with a chance for a $50 rebate! doesn't get much better than that!

That's because its a customer driven market.

If Tigerdirect didn't know about the rebate then who cares? They advertised the LE39FHDF3300TT model TV for $179. According to TOS they must deliver LE39FHDF3300TT model TV or just cancel the order. Consumer knew there is a $50 rebate so they bought them.

Tigerdirect sent out email confirmation about LE39FHDF3300TT model TV purchase to consumers. Later they claimed this TV was on back order and then started shipping out LE39FHDF3300 model TV. That left consumer to eat-up $50 rebate they entitled for.

When consumers ordered LE39FHDF3300TT model TV then according to TOS Tigerdirect must ship LE39FHDF3300TT model TV but not LE39FHDF3300 model TV. For any reason they couldn't ship LE39FHDF3300TT model TV then they could have asked consumers if they want LE39FHDF3300 TV as substitute or they would like to cancel the order. Instead they started shipping out LE39FHDF3300 TV that is not eligible for the rebate. Who gives a shittt if Tigerdirect is delivering the promised $179 TV set if its not the same that was ordered?

For me $179 is still a good price. For you $179 may be a good price. But there are many who buy stuff according to their budget so they will not like seeing no more $50 rebate.

Oh and I did not count those greedy bastards who can afford to spend thousands but wining about $50 rebate will not go through.

Edit: I didn't mentioned this but many consumers had chance to spend $179 somewhere else. They did trust Tigerdirect for this TV and bought this TV thinking they will get their rebate. They came to the point where they do not need to waste time elsewhere so they did let go many other TV deals regardless of price point on black Friday. Now after few days Tigerdirect is shipping out different model TV with no rebate means consumers wasted their valuable time to buy a TV on black Friday behind Tigerdirect. That means refusing delivery will not cut the deal. Also consumer can sure reverse the charge on credit card and Tigerdirect can do nothing about it if exact item was not delivered.

So, you think its right for people to hold Tiger responsible for something they didn't advertize? according to Tiger's website there is no such rebate, I just don't see why Tiger should be responsible for something like this.

I can understand the part where people got shipped a different model TV, but its simple, don't want it, can't afford it, may not get the rebate, fine, just cancel it or refuse shipment, simple as that, Tiger was nice enough to do a substitution, again, if anyone don't want it, just refuse shipment.

As for the rebate no one knew weather the rebate is legit or not, since Tiger direct didn't advertize it, everyone going in from the beginning knows its for $179 with a chance for a $50 rebate but again it wasn't a for sure thing, and now if people keep bombarding Tiger about the never advertized $50 rebate, they may just pull the rebate out and I hope everyone will be happy then.

I have to say I really didn't like the Title being edited from $180 to $130 since the rebate was iffy to begin with.

Mine still says backordered. At this point, I won't be upset if they cancel my order as long as they don't try to give me store credit for the refund.

Yes, tiger direct should stand by it.

My first "real company" had a promotion with the Rugrats movie. We gave away a free playstation rugrats game in sponsorship with the movie. Because it was worded slightly vaguely the winner believed they would get a Playstation with the game. The game came out of the Rugrats advertising budget. The playstation came out of my personal wallet.

Shouldn't there be an expectation of honor in any dealing?

Do you really have a clue what you are talking about? Have you ever heard of systemax? I am sure you didn't because the way you're talking.

Let me ask you something different. Have you even wondered why tigerdirect, compusa, and circuitcity sites seems almost similar? That's because if I am not mistaking then systemax inc. own all these web sites matter of fact systemax is the one go out in market to sell stuff using these web sites. Systemax also own 4myrebate.com company to process rebates.

For a proof click here http://www.systemax.com/ then click on shop retail tab or shop online tab and see who they are.

Now this unadvertised rebate and then shipping out different model TV and all make any sense to you?

Like I have said I am very very happy with $179 price tag. But that does not mean I can say all other who ordered this TV are happy with the way Tiger sent out different TV to invalidate rebate. Someone knows that if customer start refusing the delivery then all it will cost them is delivery charge which will be way less than losing $50 in rebate amount. But what about customer? Just screw them right?

Have you ever thought about that Tiger actually ran out stock on the 3300TT model and just replaced with another model to fullfill order?, there are other people who got the right invoice with the right model number, and we will find out in a few days.

I will agree with you if Tiger direct advertised a $50 rebate on the 3300tt model then turn around and send out the non - tt model to intentionally rip people off, but this is not the case, why would they even want people to refuse order? just to loose shipping money? that makes no sense what so ever.

And yes, I know who System Max is, I have been around the computer manufacturing business since the mid 90's working as purchasing mgr, but what does System Max have to do with all this? weather they all belong to the same parent company or not has nothing to do with this rebate, for the 100th time, the rebate was never advertised, did I get that thru now? and do you know walmart don't even price match their own website?

The bottom line is they didn't advertise/sell the TV with a $50 rebate for $179 ( This thread advertised it ) , they advertised a TV for $179 and shipped out a TV for $179, I do agree they should notify the customers first before substituting a different model, so fight Tiger on that issue not the rebate, all they have to say is we never advertised a $50 rebate, try to search for this rebate and it never comes up on their site.

BTW, the regular 3300 model has a two year warranty and while the 3300TT model only have 1 year warranty, maybe we should fight Tiger on this one as well.

Judging from the numerous reviews (on amazon) of people who have attempted to make use of the warranty I wouldn't bother disputing 1 year vs 2 year....

Finally got an origin scan today, will be here Wednesday. I got in at $179 and have not called or emailed. Somewhat gave it time for Tiger to fill orders and don't know what model I'll receive but have an invoice for TT. I just expect Tiger to preform and if a rebate isn't honored I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

well i guess you guys have something missing here

by the way, my email confirmation and my invoice both have the correct numbers. we shall see when i get the tv if it is the one i ordered. it just shows that it has been picked up by UPS for wednesday delivery. ordered at $179.

but you guys may not remember than a rebate did come up. it is was not the correct rebate but the $70 one. i saved an order confirmation screenshot of the page after i purchased it, so it might be legit.
