I have the Canon Rebel T3. Is it worth it to upgrade to the T3i for $335.99? (I don't need the 18-55mm lens so if I buy, I'd only buy the body.) Appreciate any insight to save me time in researching the differences between the two bodies.

Keep in mind, page 2 also has T1i with a kit lens for $250.. if you didn't quite want to drop $400 on a dslr to get your feet wet!

Want to buy one for my mom, she wants a slr, beginner. Will take more photos than video. Which is the best value? Canon $421 + $70 ST 3 warranty $491 Nikon $452 1yr warranty What should I get? |

I have seen pics taken with the 60d and they look very good. The feel of the camera for smaller hands is nice too. Not too bulky or heavy in my opinion. I was torn between this and the 5d mark ii.

wow a t3i direct from canon for under $300 or t1i for under $200 (after selling kit lens) is pretty darn ridiculous...
just a year or two ago, you would spend that much on a crappy point and shoot |

Well, I'm gonna be using a DSLR for video primarily but I'm not going to use it until a few months from now. Is the T3i good enough or will I regret not waiting because of this deal and getting a T4i later down the line? Are the video capabilities of the t4i much better than the t3i?
