No go on money back from Amazon. They said my only recourse was to order a new one and return the old. Because I got a $10 promo credit with my copy, there is a chance they will subtract $10 from my refund. So for $10 saved, I have to decide if it is worth it. Normally I would not hesitate, but there is so much that can go wrong with military mail, especially with Storm Season in effect here, that it may be more trouble than it is worth.

I also preordered it and I am going to just eat the loss and be grumpy with it. Basically a $9 difference and since the return isn't Amazon's fault you're going to have to pay return shipping. So for about $6 and the effort involved I'll just get over it.

Just FYI....I live in S.C. and I bought the Lego Batman 2 for $15 for Walmart In-store pick-up. Just FYI...I was going to wait too for amazon, but didnt have too....

I was late on the Walmart one as well. Is $25 going to be their Black Friday price? I haven't seen any posts/ads about it.

I just asked really nicely and got the same deal! She said is was a one-time exception so I don't know how frequently I could get them to do this. I asked for a similar adjustment 2 years ago on black Friday and they said no.

It's all a matter of which customer service person you get. I've gotten the "one-time exception" around 10 times. I got it on this one too, but it took me two chats, asking for a supervisor, and then finally getting forwarded to their concerns department.

I ordered a copy from Staples with a $25 off $75 coupon (used one of the FAR software as a filler) and asked them to PM to Amazon. Worked without a problem and paid the balance with my rewards. Great deal.

I decided to eat the loss, but I wonder if I should try another chat since people are getting lucky with it.
