I kinda forgot about this I just checked my rebate status and it was declined with no reason given?
Going to send a email to asus@help.4myrebate.com to find out why. Anyone else get declined? |

I just checked asus.4myrebate.com and got an e-mail saying "Approved", so hopefully the check will eventually come through.

Crap... I totally forgot to send in the rebate... omg... $35 was big...my first rebate miss. Ugh'
What are my chances I could submit it again past the deadline?

Just to share. Bought and Asus burner last month and now the crooks are saying they didn't receive my rebate materials. Good thing I sent them certified mail, has saved me many times. They will pay what they owe, they just don't know it yet.

Yeah, so when they say it takes 10-12 weeks to get the rebate, they really mean it. The GC said it'll start losing funds at $2/mo. after 7 months, so that's plenty of time, but I advise people use their GC right away and be done with it.
The Asus Blu-ray drive is doing great. But I've only used it for DVD ripping and burning. One of these days I'll rip and burn a BD. What's your experience on BD ripping/burning with this drive so far? |

Basically, just buy an Amazon GC for the amount on the card, then immediately apply the code to your account. No expiration, and it's safely yours forever without any fees. |

Received mine yesterday. Just called in today to request a check. Takes about 20 business days to receive it, which is like another month in real time. Took a couple of calls, because the CSR doesn't really understand you. Think they're in India.
Much rather get a check. Don't purchase often from amazon. The phone number is on the back of the card. I really suggest you guys call in to request a check. Don't put up with these rewards cards. Newegg is still trying to sell this drive for $50AR this week [newegg.com] $69.99 - $20 rebate. |
