i think this is a repost. also the acer has regular, hotter and shorter-lifespan bulbs. this LG happens to be the brightest led projector on the market. Wish it's not in store only as I live in an area without Frys stores.
I've had this PA70G projector for several months. Been playing Black Ops II four person local split screen this morning with guests visiting from out of town - lots of fun. Nice having the big screen for that. The LED light source is a big plus and brightness is fine in a light controlled room, ours is located on the basement ceiling.
Kind of funny though, I paid $450 for the projector at Frys several months ago, and was just mentioning the price paid to my guests, when suddenly this new deal popped up for $400, lol. Can't complain much though, because we've gotten a lot of use the last 3 or so months for my extra $50.
Some deals I got thanks to SD:
$75.40 - 32gb (4 x 8gb) Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz RAM
$107.05 - Intel i5-2500k CPU
$54.05 - Kodak ZX5 Playsport video camera
$105.66 - Intel I3 2100 CPU and MSI H61M-E33 motherboard combo
$63.65 - AMD 840 Phenom II X4 CPU and MSI 880GM-E35 motherboard combo
$88.95 - XBOX 360 Arcade 4gb console w/ 2 games
lumens output is not the holy grail and bulb durability matters more to some that do not want to turn the thing off just because he/she already watched the allocated 4 hrs/day in order to get a 2 yr lifetime
